Mary Welch’s work is shaped by her vibrant curiosity for life. She’s currently based in Charleston, but shaped by her upbringing in Tennessee, as well as, her years in New York City, Peru, Colorado, and Chicago. She carries deep influences from fashion, music, wellness, and travel, which all inform her distinct point of view. Today, she channels this perspective into a design philosophy rooted in connection. She works closely with her clients to create spaces that reflect their unique passions and feel emotionally resonant. Spaces that reflect who they are and who they are becoming. Her mission is to boldly reinvent spaces so people come alive inside of them. To create spaces that make her clients feel something, like their space is unmistakably theirs. But her deeper “why” is rooted in the connection between our surroundings and our well-being. Mary Welch believes our environments have a real impact on how we think, feel, move, connect, and show up in the world. A home should do more than look beautiful—it should support the life happening inside of it.
